With more than 400 years of history in the Netherlands, Vopak has grown into a global leader in energy storage and distribution. Rooted in the fossil fuel economy, the company recognized the instrumental role it had to play in the energy transition, balancing today’s needs with tomorrow’s opportunities. From hydrogen to ammonia, Vopak is actively building the infrastructure that will power a new energy future.
To support this transformation, DartDesign developed a renewed corporate and investor narrative, crafted to reinforce trust in Vopak’s long-term value creation. The new brand identity communicates both resilience and ambition: celebrating the strength of the business today, while making clear its pioneering role in distributing the fuels of tomorrow. This narrative was introduced at the Analyst & Investor Day as a foundation for strategic dialogue with stakeholders worldwide.
More than a rebrand, this work has become a catalyst for cultural change within Vopak. The Leadership event was organized around the theme of Flow Forward. The new identity embodies a forward-driven, entrepreneurial mindset, encouraging innovation, R&D, and adaptability at every level of the organization. Anchored in the new payoff We help the world flow forward, Vopak now communicates one clear story: a company that honors its heritage, embraces transition, and leads the way toward a sustainable energy economy.
