Few things are as personal as your bank card. For one of the largest banks in the Netherlands, its design offers a unique opportunity to stand out as a brand. As a trusted partner of ABN AMRO, supporting them over the years with brand and communication design, branch materials, and reporting, we were invited to refresh one of their most visible assets.

More than just a card

We’ve been using bank cards for more than thirty years, and their role has constantly evolved. From physical card to digital wallet on smartphone and smartwatch. Always personal, because it goes everywhere with you. Always secure, now even protected by biometrics. While physical branches close and banking becomes ever more digital, the card remains the tangible link between customer and bank.

Inspired by tomorrow

For the new design we brought together ABN AMRO’s most recognizable brand elements. The iconic green makes the card instantly stand out in any wallet, transforming the visual language into a coherent design that works seamlessly across debit and credit cards.
